"How Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" was promoted in ads!"

What a big surprise. Look at this ad from 1937. It promotes the book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill

I did not know that "Think and Grow Rich" was promoted this way. But check out Jan Risberg's blog and see a reprint of an ad that was printed in 1937's December issue of "The Rotarian", the official magazine of Rotary International.

Its headline is: "Why Some Men Grow Rich So Fast". The subhead goes like: "What's the REAL secret of those who make fortunes? Let's toss aside the old "success-story" fairy tales - and the wall-mottoes about "Work Hard" and "Strive and Succeed." They're bunk; and you know it!"

Furthermore, the ad explains "What These 13 Steps to Riches Will Do For You" and offers "FREE Personal Counsel From Napoleon Hill."

The ad is full of amazing lines. It even refers to the meeting of Napoleon Hill with Andrew Carnegie, which was the starting point of the first practical Philosophy of Personal Success and for the predecessor of "Think and Grow Rich".

"One of my Favorite Quotes From Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich' - It's About Abundance!"

One sentence by Napoleon Hill from his book "Think and Grow Rich" about abundance warms my heart every time I read it, how about you?

Napoleon Hill is well known for his book "Think and Grow Rich". If you read it you will find that you can take almost every second sentence as an impressing quote. This is because Napoleon Hill had the ability to share his ideas and knowledge in plain, sharp and clear words so that everybody can easily understand and apply them. (Click here and get your free ebook copy of "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill)

In Chapter 1 - Introduction of "Think and Grow Rich", Napoleon Hill writes my favorite sentence, an important suggestion:

"When riches begin to come they come so quickly, in such great abundance, that one wonders where they have been hiding during all those lean years."

Originally, Napoleon Hill has written the entire statement in capital letters to emphasize its importance.

Today, I have found this quote in a fantastic article about abundance, written by Evelyn Lim. When we think and talk about abundance, we usually talk about the abundance of material goods, especially of money.

Evelyn Lim now gives a bit of a twist to abundance. She writes about the abundance of opportunities and ideas. She writes: "Opportunities are available because ideas are abundant." "No Motivation in 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill?"

Believe it or not - In Napoleon Hill's book "Think and Grow Rich" you won't find the vocable "motivation" at all

But fortunately you will find lots of "motivation" in Ricky Cooper's amazing article about Goal Reaching and Motivation. Ricky Cooper's core point is: "(...) to reach (...) goals you must be motivated to do so yourself"

"Want to Make Money Fast? Some not too serious ways to money!" (What would Napoleon Hill have said?)

It is the question of questions: How to make money fast? Here are some answers how to think and grow rich!

There are many different ways to make money. But when I hear claims like "get rich quick" or "make millions fast" I instantly grab my purse - to protect it. Hoping to make money fast usually means: Losing money fast.

But there are ways to make some quick cash without falling for a scam. Fibo 777 has put together a list of ways how to make money fast. When I read the list for the first time, I wondered what Napoleon Hill ("Think and Grow Rich") click for a free copy) would have said about this list.

In some points it seems a little bit strange. But all tips are lawful, so you may want to consider them in case you need some cash fast.

My Top 3 are:

1. Sell unnecessary stuff
This is a good idea in two respects: You get some quick cash and you get rid of stuff that you don't need to
store, clean, maintain or move anymore.

2. Donate blood
This is one of the quick-money-classics. Donating blood won't make you rich, because you can't donate on     a daily basis. But you get some bucks while helping those who are in need of blood preservation.

3. Sell your hair
Human hair is needed for the production of wigs and for hair extensions. Selling hair is obviously not a
full-time job but can get you some quick cash when you need it. Ask your local barber or search on Google
for contact addresses. Prices are negotiable. Consider $ 0,30 per inch as a rule of thumb. You will win
bargaining power, if you can offer hair of at least 70 inches of length.
